Microsoft, on Thursday, has introduced the latest version of its Windows operating system, Windows 11. The new Windows version includes a new Start Menu and Taskbar, alongside widgets that will work with developer apps. Windows 11 comes around six years after Windows 10 was announced, and that is why the upgrades are significant. Let’s know 11 big things about the new operating system.
Different start menu than before
The start menu is different from before in the new OS. The ‘Start’ menu is now centre-aligned and available in a dark mode. Here the tiles have been removed. Whereas, the recommended section has been added here. A separate option has been given for recent files. Also, now there will be great connectivity with the phone and users will be able to complete mobile work directly in their computer.
Here users will get a collection of many apps and it can be accessed directly from the taskbar. It lets you switch to a different app (if you need to), and automatically switch back to the full multi-app view later.
It is designed for multi tasking. This will allow multiple Windows to run simultaneously on the same screen. No OS lets you snap so many screens together. Users will be able to video call anyone; it will not matter if the other user is on a different device, even a Mac.

Integration of Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams has been integrated in the new OS. That is, users will see this feature with every Windows 11 and it will be easier to connect with others through Teams.
Widgets feature will also be available in the new Windows 11. It can also be personalised. The company has used AI in this. Here users will see other important widgets including Weather.
Movies and Webseries
Users will now get movies and webseries on the Windows 11 store. In such a situation, users will be able to rate or purchase them directly from here. Also the store has been given a new look.
Special for gaming
Windows 11 has been designed better for gaming. According to the company, superior graphics on Windows 11 with Auto HDR for gaming are promised. Over 1000 games will be automatically enhanced on Windows 11 devices which support Auto HDR. Microsoft says top performing PCs will perform better thanks to direct storage on Windows 11. This kind of technology has also been used by Microsoft on Xbox.
In Windows 11, Game Pass subscription users will get through the Xbox app. According to the company, you will not have to pay much money for the Game Pass library. More variety will be seen and new games will come every month.
Android Apps Support
Android apps will be supported in the new OS. Amazon Store will be available in Windows 11, from which users will be able to download apps. In such a situation, users will be able to access apps running on Android in Windows 11. However, there will be limited apps for now and there will be no Google Play Store.
Voice Typing Feature
A new type of touch keyboard has been given in Windows 11. To make typing easier, now voice typing feature will be seen here like Android. Along with this, many features of Android will also be seen in it.
