India recorded 9,283 new coronavirus infections taking the country’s total tally of COVID-19 cases to 3,45,35,763, while Covid-19 death toll also climbed to 4,66,584 with 437 deaths in last 24 hours.
The Case fetality rate currently stands at 1.35 per cent.
India’s active caseload decreased by 2,103 in last 24 hours to stand at 1,11,481, lowest in 537 days, now comprises 0.32 per cent of the total caseload.
National coronavirus recovery rate currently stands at 98.33 per cent, with 10,949 patients recovering in last 24 hours. 3,39,57,698 patients have recovered from the infections so far across the country.
With 11,57,697 Covid test done during the previous day, the daily positivity rate stood at 0.80 per cent, while weekly positivity rate was recorded at 0.93 per cent.
63.47 crore total tests has been conducted so far for detection of COVID-19 in the country.
Meanwhile, 118.44 crore vaccine Doses have been administered so far in the country under Nationwide Vaccination Drive, with 76,58,203 vaccine doses administered yesterday.
National Capital Delhi reported 27 fresh cases of COVID-19 and zero death on Tuesday. There are 296 active cases of coronavirus in the city.
