The results of CBSE 12th examination were released on Friday afternoon. But, this year the merit list of toppers has not been announced. This time, a total of 12,96,318 students have passed the class 12 examination with a passing percentage of 99.37 per cent. Only 100 per cent students of Kendriya Vidyalaya have passed. The total number of students who appeared for the examination was 13,04,561, out of which 12,96,318 students have passed the examination. This makes up the total percentage of students at 99.37 per cent. There are about 14 lakh students who have registered for CBSE 12th examination, out of which 13,04,561 students took the exam and 12,96,318 passed.
Maintaining the previous trend, girls have outshone boys in CBSE class 12 exams this year by a margin of 0.54%.
“Girls have done better than boys by 0.54%. The pass percentage this year is 99.37%. No merit list has been announced,” a senior board official said.
The number of private candidates is about 60 thousand, whose results can be declared by August 5. The number of failed students was 8,243. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Result – 99.94 per cent (previous year – 99.70), which is better than last year. The results of CTSA i.e. Central Tibetan School Administration have also come out of 100.
This time, there are 1,50,152 students in class 12th whose marks are between 90 to 95 per cent. Whereas more than 70,000 students have passed with more than 95 per cent marks. Transgender students have passed 100 per cent. This year, the pass percentage has improved a lot as compared to last year. In 2020, 88.78 per cent students passed the class 12 exam.
In addition to this, 6,149 students were placed in compartment. These students will have to reappear for the exams as and when the CBSE notifies them. It has been said by CBSE that the 12th class results of about 65,000 students are still being prepared, they will be announced by August 5. Marksheets can also be obtained on Digilocker. Apart from marksheets, migration, skill certificates will also be available from DigiLocker.
The results of class 12 can be checked at cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. The same can also be obtained through various facilities provided by the board such as IVRS, DigiLocker, SMS and UMANG app.
Students who are dissatisfied with CBSE Class 12 result can give optional exam. The education board has also fixed the dates for the optional exam between August 15 and September 15. CBSE Class 12 results have been declared today, soon the application window for registration of optional examinations will be opened.
