Everybody feels sleepy. When it’s time to bed, but if you constantly feeling so then it may be sign of hypersomnia itself. If you feel sleepy and want a nap repeatedly even at the office then it means you are at danger.
Let’s find out some of the solutions to get over this awful problem:
- Take Adequate Sleep At Night
It is obvious to take full sleep at night because this is the one reason where hypersomnia starts with. An adult should take at least seven to nine hours a day and minors should at least complete nine hours sleep to avoid these situations, as start getting nap at school or office. If you want to get out of this problem then block at least eight or nine hours of sleep every night.
- Keep Distractions Out Of Bed
Have a reservation of your bed for sleep and sex. Never bring laptops, bills, video games, hot discussions neat to your bed. It might cause in sleepless nights.
- Set A Consistent Wake-Up Time
Fix an appropriate timing for going to bed and wake up. It will create awareness in your subconscious mind and have a good impact on your sleeping habits.
If you find it difficult then you can start this process with fixing your wake up time. Gradually it will help you to fall asleep at a disciplined timing.
- Gradually move to an earlier bedtime
There is another approach to get into a consistent schedule that is to minimize your bedtime gradually. It can be started with going to bed before 15 minute to the regular bedtime consistently for four days. Then reverse to the last sleep time, this will help you to go to bed earlier.
- Set consistent, healthy mealtimes
Not just the bedtimes but eating habits also have an impact on the sleeping pattern. Set your meal times regularly and have better sleeps at night. If you will not eat well it will not supply proper energy to your body and will cause dullness and unwanted nap. Also, finish your meals before two to three hours of your bedtime.
- Don’t take coffee or tea before bedtime
Try to avoid coffee and tea before going to the bed as they have caffeine and they cause problem sleeping.
Not surprisingly, but the daytime sleeping is a wide spread problem. We can find someone very easily in our office, school, college etc. struggling with constant nap. It is all due to irregular eating and sleeping pattern. Initially we don’t mind not taking proper sleep but when it starts creating problems then we have to struggle to face it.
